JEM (Pinup Girl #337)

JEM is single, 22-years-old, and resides in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She grew up in a small town in Minnesota and is a fulltime model. She has long brunette hair, light blue eyes, stands 5’8” in height, and weighs 120 lbs with measurements of 34B-25-35. She grew up not knowing exactly what she wanted to do, and after graduating high school she decided to study Cosmetology at the Aveda Institute in Minneapolis.

JEM was randomly discovered one night by a photographer and has not looked back. She started modeling quickly thereafter, doing small photo shoots and runway shows, and then found herself traveling across the country from coast to coast doing many more photo shoots. She has been fortunate enough to make a name for herself as a freelance model, and has graced the pages of numerous magazines and books, and her likeness has been showcased in many galleries worldwide. She has since relocated to the east coast, and for the past five years has continued to travel the globe taking part in countless projects and campaigns.

Interview Questions:

Bandini – What turns you on creatively, spiritually or emotionally?

JEM - What really gets me going is other people’s energy. I thrive off of others and their ambition and creativity. I get so inspired by what others around me are doing and creating. When like-minded people with great ideas come together, it’s a beautiful thing and amazing art is created!! And to make art is to make history, and that’s what life is about.

Bandini – What turns you off?

JEM - I hate feeling constricted and smothered. I can’t stay in one place for too long, doing the same thing. I go totally stir crazy if I’m not out doing something! I hate the thought of staying in one place for a long time, and if I can’t go somewhere that I want, and when I want... there is a problem. I need complete control of my own life and I will not tolerate someone else trying to take that control from me.

Bandini – What sound or noise do you love?

JEM - I LOVE the sound of wind chimes, it reminds me of my grandmothers every time. It’s such a calming feeling.

Bandini – What profession other than your own would you like to attempt?

JEM - I would absolutely be a Psycho Therapist; if it wasn’t for 8 years of schooling needed. I love listening, talking, and helping others. I am so intrigued by what others think and do. I like to pick peoples brains, figure out what makes them tick. I have always communicated in a different way then most, and I FEEL what people are telling me, rather than just listen. I am such a compassionate person and am always looking to help someone. I love having people confide in me and helping them find better solutions.

Bandini – What is your favourite curse word?

JEM - I would have to probably say...bitch? It’s a fun word to say and people take it TOO seriously!
